If you follow me on social media or have been reading my blog you know that I have been preparing for the Portland RAW Signature Showcase over the past month. New originals coming together on the studio table, while show details are being taken care of behind the scenes. To say it has been a whirlwind is a bit of an understatement, but I have enjoyed every minute of it.

The studio is a disaster, as a busy studio should be, with layers of paint building up on the table like a history walk through of the last few weeks.

Originals are getting signed, hangers attached and lined up for their journey to the show.

When the creative muses start turning the piles and layers just keep going. Getting pushed to the side to make room for the next piece to squeeze some space on the studio table. It will take days to get things back to a fresh start, but every time I walk into the studio it makes me happy to see how hard I have worked for this first big public show.

Even with all of the planning and strategizing for the show that has happened in the past four weeks, these last days before the show will be packed full of the final details. The time when everything will come together (or not, but time will run out to fuss) and I take that big leap and get my art out in front of a large local audience. Scary and thrilling all at the same time.

I would LOVE to see friendly faces at the show. My ticket deadline got extended so you can still pick up tickets through my RAW Showcase site and get the pre-show price.
